C for Silicon Carbide
Z for Aluminum Zirconium
Prefix to these letters indicate some particular variations in these groups.
Grain Size : Means strength of bonding of a grinding wheel : in other words hardness denoted by English Alphabets Starting from D (Softest) to Z (hardest). Very soft DFFG Soft HIJK Medium LMNO Hard PQRST Very hard UVWXYZ.
Selecting of gift: Finer grit worse finish, softer material, light stock removal, uninterrupted surface and small contact area Coarser grit worse finish, softer material, heavy stock removal, form surface and larger contact area.
Bond Type : Types of Bonds are denoted by following letters.
V = Vitrified, R = Rubber, S = Silicate
B = Resinoid, E = Shellac, O = Oxychloried
